Vinay Varma of Sutradhar School of Acting

Vinay Varma son of Anand Raj Varma is involved with this project. Sutradhar Casting Agency Ltd. is located at 3-6-145/9/1/1 in Himayatnagar, Hyderabad.

Vinay Varma is a theatre activist who has now branched out into television and films. Even though theatre remains at the core of his heart, he also writes scripts for feature films, corporate films, documentaries etc. He lends his voice regularly for feature films, ad films, documentaries, corporate films etc. A peep at some of the works he has done

Has acted in over 25 plays and directed about 10 plays. Some of his better known characters are Krapp, an 80-year old has-been debaucher from "Krapp's Last Tapes" (Written by Samuel Beckett), Siddharth, a 10-year old spina-bifida afflicted, wheel-chair ridden boy in Roy Kift's Grips Theater play "Stronger Than Superman", Vidushak from Premanand Gazvi's "Gandhi-Ambedkar", Green Eyes from Jean Genet's "Deatch Watch" and Nathuram Godse from "Main Nathuram Godse…" (The Hindi version of the Late Pradeep Dalvi's Marathi original "MEE NATHURAM GODSE BOLTOY").

Played the central character SIVANNA in Ushakiron Movies' Veedhi - The Street, produced by Ramoji Rao and directed by V.Dorairaj.

Playing an underworld don in Mani Shankar's Hindi film "Mukhbir", starring Om Puri, Rahul Dev, Sunil Shetty etc.

He did a cameo in Krishna Vamsi's Telugu thriller "Danger" , as the scary, aghori sadhu.

He debuted with an NRI project "Tu Hi Meri Ganga", subtitled as "The Rituals" wherein he played the fake swami with a huge female fan following. The film was screened at the Nashville International Film Festival at Toronto in 2006.

He Played the villain in Ravi Chavali's Telugu film "Love".

He has been the associate director for Mani Shankar's Hindi film "16 December" and has also played an important role in it, that of the Home Minister's.

He has done a major character in the Telugu film "Nee Todu Kaavali".

Vinay also has been privileged to work alongside the Hollywood legend Harvey Keitel in the Ushakiron Movies International Ltd's Hollywood film "Beeper", directed by Jack Sholder.

Played a major character in Applause Entertainment Media Pvt Ltd's. Telugu film "Tapana".

Did a bit role in Mani Shankar's "Rudraksh".

He played the lead role of the dacoit Barabbas in the Hindi telefilm Main Phir Janma Hoon (I 'am Born Again) telecast on DD-1, National Network during the Easter of 2004. The film was nominated in the Best Short Film category for the Indian Telly Awards - 2004.

Played the strong and silent Gasper - one of the Three Wise Men - in the Hindi telefilm Shanti Ka Rajkumar, telecast on ZEE-TV during the Christmas of 2004.

Played the lecherous son of Aurangazeb, Muazzam, in the Urdu telefilm "BALA" repeatedly telecast on Doordarshan.

The television serials he has acted in, includes "Ek Kahani" (in fact the only actor apart from Harish Patel to have been repeated in their series), "Shraddha", "Dharti Baney Phulwari", "Naghme Ka Safar", "Dayasagar" (wherein he played Judas Iscariot) etc.

Played major characters in two Telugu daily serials - "Manushulu-Mamatalu" telecast on DD-Telugu and "Madhavi" telecast on ETV.

Dubbed for an important character in BUNTY, BABLOO, JACKIE, the Telugu version of Jackie Chan's film ROB-B-HOOD.

Regulary lending voice in Hindi and English for Knowledge Process Outsourcing projects.

Dubbed in Telugu for popular South Indian actor Nazar in Telugu film OKKADUNNADU directed by Chandrashekar Yeleti.

Scripting and Anchoring CHOUPAL RADIO, ITC's weekly webcasting programme in Hindi for farmers of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Rajasthan.

Dubbed for Tinu Anand in Telugu film "Anji", starring Chiranjeevi, touted as the costliest Telugu film ever made.

Dubbed in Kannada for well-known character actor Sayaji Shinde for the hit Kannada film "Veera Kannadiga".

Among the other Telugu films he has dubbed in includes Piluste Palakuta, Johnny, Nimisham, Shatruvu, Happy etc.

He has appeared in the ad of State Bank of India telecast on all major national television channels.

Lent his voice for the ad of STATE BANK OF INDIA as well as Agarwal Packers and Movers, both telecast on major television channels.

Gave voice-over for National Dairy Development Board's promotional film on milk titled "Piyo Glassful Doodh".

Lent voice for a number of Joyce Meyer Ministries books, Documentaries on NIRD, AOC, APGENCO etc; and a number of other short, corporate and promotional films.

Introductory voice in the Golconda Sound and Light show.

Was the script-writer for National Dairy Development Board's promotional film on milk titled "Piyo Glassful Doodh"

Wrote the script for ITC's film for farmers titled E-Choupal and a promotional film on Life Insurance, made by ITC titled Suraksha Bandhan.

Wrote the dialogues for the Hindi serial "Shraddha", telecast on DD-National Network.
